Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!! Even if it's not your holiday, it's a wonderful time to take a minute and reflect on your family & friends....and on the beauty of the Autumn season!

Haven't had a lot of time to create lately...I've been packing like mad and we started moving things over yesterday, so, I am a bit stiff this AM but have another full day ahead!!!

We have a lot of stuff & will be moving all of it except for the furniture & that will be done on December 8...then we'll be in our new home! YAY!!!

Wish me good weather & strength, dear friends!

Here is the Secret Sister Swap box that I received from dear Christine Shebroe....can you believe all the goodies within!!! I can't wait to play, she was very generous & I love it all!!!

Here is a pic of the top of the box along with the gorgeous heart-shaped ornament that Christine created, she is such a talented artist!!! She also sent a beautiful micro-slide pendent, a stack of vintage photos, beautiful lace, satiny vintage gloves, all sorts of vintage trims & papers....WOW!!! It was such fun pulling each item out and thinking of the thought that she put into creating this bounty!!!

Here are three of the pink & gold ornaments that I created for a Paper Whimsy ornament banner swap...we will all have & different ornaments at the end & will be able to hang them together in a lovely pink & gold swag!!!

Here is the 2nd group of ornaments!

This is one of the pages that I created for Saundra in our "Color Me Silly" RR. It is a color theme book & I chose gray.

Here is the 2nd page that I created....actually, it should be first but I boo-boo'd in uploading!

So, in parting, I wish everyone a joy-full holiday and the best of cheer. You are all so dear to me!

To celebrate!

To celebrate my blog-a-versary and my wonderful new look (thank you again Sara Duckett!!!), I am going to give-away a brand new copy (one each) of two of my favorite books! You can see pix of the books below.

"Making Connections" by Susan Lenart Kazmer is chock-full of inspiration and imagination, I can't think of a better combination!!!

"Fairie-ality" is a beautiful book, full of the most amazing creations........sigh!!!

All you need to do to enter the give-away is to share, in words, one of your greatest joys in life. Simple, huh???? I'll be choosing, at randon, two lucky winners on November 19 and I'll be happy to mail these anywhere, so don't be shy!!!

One of my greatest joys (and I have many) is giving. I give time, $$$, art, and sometimes, advice *smile*

So don't be shy!!! Bring your friends, share the joy!!!

A few more photos!

Well, a couple more, anyway, the system is not co-operating!

Here are a few of the raised beds in the garden area, one is totally planted with strawberries! Composters lined up to the side & the drip irrigation system in the background.

A little peek into the kitchen, pantry to the right & lots of pretty wood!

I'll try to post a few more later, hope you enjoyed these!!!
