These are Gothic arches that I made for Heather Robinson...her theme is "anything vintage", so I used a couple of soft, romantic images on fabric backgrounds, the 1st one reads "a mother's kiss, a child's whisper" & the 2nd "the soft blush of Spring upon her cheek". I embellished the pieces with Lumiere paint, silk flowers, & hand-dyed lace.
This is a piece that I completed for the April 18 PW quote challenge. The quotation is "Into the house where joy lives, happiness will gladly come". I distressed a PW image and gave her a little crown, used some Basic Grey "Boxer" papers around the edges, stamped, fringed, & folded a wee bit o' muslin, and stamped a little house on tissue paper. I finished the other side with background papers and then put the quotation there.
This is a combo pic of my Moonbeam Fairy slippers and the little box that I altered to hold them. The box is a round papier mache that I painted with royal blue, turquoise, and silver acrylics. I stamped the blue moon face on some tissue paper and adhered it to the top of the box, stamped on Moonbeam, and added some tiny silver stars. I stamped the words "weaving silver threads among the stars" on tissue paper and glued it to the side of the box. I then drew some silver "threads" and stamped some tiny black stars to finish it off. I sewed a round pillow of silver faille and stamped it with the blue moon face, stuffed it, & put it in the box so the slippers could rest on it.
